If your cat was lost you would want others to put food out for your pet. There are many lost animals who could cross your property and be hungry and cant find there way home.  Be sure and keep dry cat food out for the lost and stray animals.

Ms. Fox came to our house every year and waited and watched me from a rooftop or in my back yard. She traveled, she was hungry and expecting babies.  If we do not help her,,who does?  When I hear people panic over a  stay animal warning others  not to  feed them I  question the compassion of people that are out of touch with life.   Food and water and shelter is needed for basic survival.  Yes, an animal is dangerous if provoked and hungry.  If food is placed away from the home in the same place daily these wondering starving animals will come to feed and not try to harm anyone.  Leave them alone and watch and learn from them.  Survival could knock on your own door some day.  I always ask. What would Jesus or any spiritual teacher do?
